Spring Training: The 2025 B-STS
The 2025 B-STS ride series will consist of 10 Saturday rides in March, April and May, starting March 15

What is the B-STS?
The B-STS is a non-instructional series of progressively more challenging rides during the Spring. The B-STS will consist of three paces, B16, B17 and B-18. We offer multiple speed groups with some route overlap in the first few weeks so participants can find the group that works best for them.
Who can join the B-STS?
Any NYCC member can sign up. It is designed for experienced riders who are already familiar with NYCC’s typical single-file group riding style (based on experience with NYCC or a comparable group), and are comfortable with distance and elevation comparable to that of the B-SIG (40-100 miles, 2000-5000 ft progressive). If you are not sure if these rides are for you, feel free to reach out to B-Rides Coordinator YJ Chen at b-rides@nycc.org.
How do I sign up?
Groups will be available for sign-up at least three paces, B16, B17 and B-18, starting out slightly below advertised pace for coming out of winter and getting to the target pace by the middle of the series. These rides will be available first-come, first-served on our usual ride sign-up board. Further information regarding each ride will be available on the individual ride sign-up page on the ride sign-up board.
Who are the leaders?
Emily Lipstein, Glen Masullo, Gloria Lee, Meredith Bennett, YJ Chen, Sheila O'Connor, Aravind Mallela, Larry Ubell, John Lyengel, Jonathan Aitken, Leonard Yang, Steve Vaccaro
